I was just wondering what the reasoning would be behind asking the robots to not cache your page

<META NAME="robots" CONTENT="noarchive">

Caching doesn't help or hurt your listing does it?

Looking for any and all explanations.

it's mainly used when you want to remove cached pages from the index.
