Hi,
I'm gradually getting mad about those windows popping up when triyng to close a page.
I there any way to deal with this, or just disabling JavaScript for a particular site completely?
I use IE 6.
thanks
Pawel
If you download the Google toolbar (http://toolbar.google.com) one of the options in the configuration (it might still be beta) is to turn them off. I don't use it myself but it's certainly a quick and easy solution (and the toolbar's great too!)
There are a lot of software programs out there that do that. They are commonly called Popup Blockers. I don't know any particular ones offhand, but there are lots. You can probably find some on Google, or maybe tucows has some shareware ones.
