hi
i have been lurking around this forum for a while and picked up some good advice and tricks but this is my first post!
the problem i have is that i am trying to set up a page simillar to
www.startpage.com
but do not know the script that enables startpage.com to allow
users to close boxes of links and reduce them to the bottom of the page.
i know that this is not that clear but if you go to startpage.com
you will see what i mean.
cheers

Hey Dragonnet, Thanks for joining and posting

Here is a couple sites I found that offer similiar scripts...

Is he using DHTML?

http://www.xs4all.nl/~ppk/js/olddisplay.html

Might be the QuickMenu found here (not sure)

http://www.opencube.com/index.html

You possibly could use a tree view like the one found here:

http://www.planet-source-code.com/vb...=6411&lngWId=4

Anybody else know??

Seems like a javascript to me.

http://www.startpage.com/js/util.js

This is the javascript he is using. But don't ask me what any of that code means.
