I just tried editing this script, which you can see at http://www.omt.net/tests/downloadtest.phps but when I try to view it as http://www.omt.net/tests/downloadtest.php it comes up with a blank page. The PHP script is also supposed to warn about empty fields but it doesn't seem to work.

That, and the error text isn't in red and I need it to go to a specified URL instead of summarizing what dada was sent.

Cheers,

Fred

The URL http://www.omt.net/tests/downloadtest.php comes up correctly for me.

Also can you post the URL where you got the original script from? I want to compare them and make sure you didnt make a typo...

Actually, I changed the location of the form to http://www.omt.net/tests/formmailer3.php, so feel free to have a looksee there.

I've made some headway. I'm left with fixing it so red text displays next to blank fields on submit and redirecting to a URL instead of that message summary.

I got the code at http://www.rent-a-tutor.com/tools/makeform.php. They have an online PHP form generator.

I need to be able to use the form to replace the one on www.omt.net/imediatouch/download.html which currently uses a CGI script. I'm hoping I can keep the formatting of the page when using the PHP script.

Thanks SO much for your help! This is a real challenge for me 'cuz I'm more of a multimedia guy than a programmer.

Cheers,

Fred
