How to use the password protected directories in web hosting cpanel.Also How to add the users in pwd protected directories.

Just go to ur cpanel and click on Password Proteced stuff. and Click on it.. den u browse thru ur folders which one u wanna use.. and enter the Username and Password.

I want to know the details about , how to add the users authentication to password protected directories in web hosting cpanel.
i.e By registering the users or customers thru online and giving access to password protected directory.
