member and review site

Hey. I need desperate help.

would like to create a site, where people can sign up and upload reviews of their music albums. I may look into extending this and giving options such as member points and things like that. But I have no idea how to go about doing this...

I would probably like a forum aswell, but I only know HTML, is there anyone who can help, or even a premade template to be downloaded for this kind of thing?

You could use a CMS, content management system: mambo, enigma, xoops, nuke .. or just the new phpBB which can be modded for news and stuff.

Where would I get those from? I'm not just looking for a forum (incase that's all phpbb is good for). Do those other things cost money?

Some easier, some more difficult. If you chose Nuke, Mambo, Xoops or Enigma, I think I could give you some solid help, as I've played with them all. For Nuke I've put together a tutorial HERE

Whatever the CMS you need, PM me and I would gladly help you with it. I've come to know some of them and can guess in many occasions

You need Php and Mysql on the server that hosts you.
