Hey, I was just wondering how I could sell a cd that I have recorded myself online. I have a paypal account and I think I saw somewhere that you can set up a small paypal shop, is this correct? Can anyone give me any advice...

Thanks!

If you are going to set up your own webpage about your CD, you can use PayPal's free shopping cart. Then link is https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/websc...-intro-outside
Read about it there. The only thing is with the PayPal shopping cart, you can only accept payments from people who have a PayPal account themselves. But for a free easy way to sell something, it works!

Umm give me less than a week and I can get you a script that has a shopping cart, and uses paypal as its payment gateway and right after your customer pays for your cd, he downloads it! If interested pm me and I will give you a discount off the already extremly low price of $20

Paypal provides a wonderful pleather of sample scripts on their dev website. I would suggest you looking into paypal sandbox. I recently wrote some scripts to handle subscriptions, and most of the code/examples were very helpful and straight forward.

I pefer using 2checkout.com

1. Because the purchaser doesn't have to sign up inorder to buy your product.
(what a bunch of crock, paypal requires YOUR customer to buy their product before the customer you found can buy your product)

2. 2checkout.com acts as a reseller of your products so in short you're not selling to the public. This means you are NOT required to collect state sales tax, even if the buyer lives in your home state.

3. 2checkout.com is intuitive. We're trying to make a sale. Lets not give the customer any hurdles.

I currently sell CDs online using 2checkout.com and am very happy with their service.
here's the link:Christian Clipart CD
