So, I have a giant XML rss feed here
http://www.jobtarget.com/distrib/cli...castle/hca.xml

that then puts things into categories on this page
http://api.parallonjobs.com/category/

what I was wondering, was does anyone know a way that I can get the main rss feed to set up separate rss feeds for the categories?

for example, this category wants it's own rss feed...
http://api.parallonjobs.com/jobs/ALLIED-EMT-PARAMEDIC/

Any way to do that? Any help to steer me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

It will have to be done by making different queries to wherever the data comes from.

Hmm.. would that be done in PHP then? Can you possibly provide a quick example of what I might need so that I could apply it to a feed or something?

A service like feeddistiller.com will split your feeds, your need to create a account and create a feed for each subject, matched against a web page with similar content to that subject, feeddistiller will only output the feeds matching the word frequencies of the example pages, producing a new feed on each subject.
