i want to design a site where members can send messages to each other through my site, it acts like an email account in a way, for e.g. i am a member of the site and wish to send a message to another member so that as soon as that particular person logs on they are alerted that they have a message. (sorry if that sounds confusing). i would like to know if i could obtain scripts to help get me started and where do i start from really.
