I probably should know this, but I cant for life of me remember, so I'm calling on you lot.

In my flash movie I have a movie clip on frame 1, I want it to play that movie clip, then at the end move onto frame 2, but I cant seem to get it to do that.

I thought it was as simple as sticking _root.gotoAndPlay(2) on the end frame in the movieclip, but it doesnt like it.

Any one shed any light on where Im going wrong?

make sure your using a key frame and not just frame.
