Helllo, folks! I am trying to set up this website of mine. The main purpose is to share files over the web. So right now i have this directory that i share with people (password protected) and everything seems nice. But i have a problem, the names of the files are Russian, so the browser must use Windows-1251 encoding. Niether Opera nor Mozilla figured that out. No i know that there is an "encoding" html tag, but i dont really use html here, so is there a different way to tell the browser what encoding it should use to read the file-names? Perhaps some kind of script or something?

I am new to all of this, so any general suggestions are also welcome!
