If I was paid to write it would turn to crap. Eg my best paid words generate lots of cash, they are really evil words - they primarily focus on selling consumer goods to people whose entire societies have been crushed by overspending - and the environment in which I do it is the fastest-growing network of information propagation in history on our planet. For each tiny little bunch of words, not even journalistic writing merely advertising copy, I get paid more and more regular piped income, and all I do is make sure I am (1) original, (2) intelligent, (3) relevant, (4) informed, (5) insatiable, (6) self-critical, (7) emphatically analytical and I stay ahead of my game. My little business process which powers the future of A.I., in terms of funding, has not lost its touch or ability to convert electronic motion into physical cash even after 8 years of being in existence. Largely because most people who had any chance of coming near, of doing something similar, waste all their time and years on spam. Even I was lured into spam, semi-spam, soft-spam and pseudo spam for a few years inside that 8.
If I was writing as a journalist, I'd expect to be paid about £10,000 for just taking the phonecall in which the editor of some major global news source begged me and offered his wife, children, home, titles, etc, for me to write an "in brief" piece for him, on the state of the planet.
I'm always writing on this forum or this environment (whatever and wherever it may be) purely for the sake of learning, and as currency I use my own knowledge to pay up front to find out more.
Cheers for the compliment, however. I wish I could get back to my advertising work instead of worrying about hacking! Maybe that's why I'm on this forum so much when I end up having to pause my advertising for any reason (my work, I mean, my daily grafting, word after word, product after product, company after company) - an outlet for the flow of words which otherwise is permanently directed at making consumers (primarily in the UK) spend spend spend.
