In IE for http://www.karingtongroup.com/index.php?page=iso, if you click the Watch the Video link and then go click another Start Now, the video keeps playing which is different than in FF (which silences the video). I'd like to be able to get IE to behave like FF, but not sure what I'm doing wrong or what the solution may be ... even after extensive research.

Also, for the Watch the Video link, one has to click on the flash in order to get it to play ... it does not auto start like in FF. That's why we added that stupid text on the page, but is there a way to get it to auto start once viewed by the end user?

Thanks in advance for any help!

I have checked your link in IE 7 and FF 3.0.11. They were exactly identical.

Thanks for replying. I was a bit shocked that 3.1 was out and, in checking, found that 3.5 Beta is out (for FF), so I downloaded it. I just tested and here's what happens:

In FF 3.0.11 and FF 3.5 Beta

1) Load the URL
2) Click Watch the Video
3) As soon as it starts saying, "You're about to...", I clicked on Start Now.
4) The dude went quiet.
5) If I click back on Watch the Video, it starts over.

The above process is the desired process.

In IE 8.0.6001.18783

Steps 1 & 2 are the same
3) When the video loads (past the screencast loading screen), it is auto-paused and I must click play. I'd prefer it to start talking.
4) When I click on Start Now after having started the video playing, the dude keeps talking.
5) The video is still playing, so clicking Watch the Video continues where it currently is.

As an additional note, if I refresh the page and repeat steps 1-3, the video does not start in paused mode after the screencast loading screen, but starts playing, but steps 4 and 5 are the same.

Is there anyway of making the behavior as desired?

I hope this clarifies things sufficiently well to get some help in resolving the issue, but let me know.
