It depends on alot of things like: what language you would use, PHP, CGI, ASP, Java Script, etc. || plus how many features you would want. And if you didnt know what an i-frame was it will probably take along time

I agree with Mo, its really going to depend on how complex you make it and what language you are using. Personally, I think I could probably do it in about 30 hours using PHP.

Hi david,

Would that be 30 hours including breaks, or 30 hours of working time total? Also, are you yourself an expert or a beginner coder?

I would suggest you start of small.

Maybe first just getting the banner to show and your database to track impressions and clicks.

Then add maybe rotation.

Then add in members.

Then add in rich-media support.

Then add in credit tracking, and so forth.

I dont think a script is ever truly 'Finished' ... you just 'feature lock it' so that you are not continually working on the **** program!

30 hours would be a rough estimate... Probably would include some breaks. That was based on an estimate 2 weeks of my working time (working only evenings and a bit longer at weekends), but that would be for me to do it (relatively experienced). If you were learning most of the stuff as you go, it would probably take a lot longer.
