It doesn't really have to do with graphics, design, or code, but I have a feeling I got a decent sized problem on my hands :-S I hope it is okay if I ask here ...

I host signatures for people on one of my subdomains. Just now I pulled an image up in my browser, and looked at the properties for the image. the URL that showed was (my url info is right in the middle of this link):
http://www.ads234.com/adView.aspx?r...57f53&Segment=1
my info looks like this-
http%3A%2F%2F thatchristiansite.com%2Fmisc%2Fstaciefall.gif&mac= b4457f53

when of course it should have just been-
http://thatchristiansite.com/misc/staciefall.gif
(btw, I didn't make that, ;-)

Now, while looking at the browser, the right URL shows. Looking at the properties, it doesn't, BUT, when you click "go" in the browser, and pull properties up again, the right URL shows up.

How is this happening? I know this is not right, how do I get rid of this? I have noticed as I surf, often I will get an ad from ads234.com, redirecting to the page I wanted. It will show the status bar, like so-
http://thatchristiansite.com/misc/ads234.jpg

This is actually on the heels of something popping up along with my FTP program, as well. I use CuteFTP, and a couple of days ago I installed WinSCP. About the same time, this started coming up when I opened CuteFTP-

I just googled "pureFTPd" and this page come up-
http://www.pureftpd.org/
"Pure-FTPd is a free (BSD), secure, production-quality and standard-conformant FTP server based upon Troll-FTPd. It doesn't provide useless bells and whistles, but focuses on efficiency and ease of use. It provides simple answers to common needs, plus unique useful features for personal users as well as hosting providers."

Problem is, that is NOT what I wanted! Do you think one has to do with the other? Also, that is not showing up in my programs list- is it supposed to? I've never dealt wit anything like this, so I'm rather clueless

uhg.
Any help or input would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance ...
