I am creating fansites for my favourite music artists and when I come to the lyrics page of them, it takes me ages to do them if you understand me.

Your all gonna say, why don't you just copy them from other websites then, but even when I do that, it still takes me weeks

I have to create the files, add the html code in there and then I place the lyrics in there

So does anyone know or have a quicker way to do this on my websites

Use a server side code combined with a database, should be easy

You can actually purchase packages lyric programs that have huge databases for fairly cheap. Look around, I used to see them on this site all the time.

A good place to start may be to consider using SSI to handle most of the presentation, to save all of the cut and paste to setup your page. Take a look at the following tutorial, and it will get you moving in the right direction. It will help you handle all of the mundane page setup, without confusing you with learning a full blown scripting language.

I know about that and I juse this for the menu bar on my website

But is there no way to gather alot of lyrics automatically if you understand?
