permissions For Drupal-Verify requirements

hi friends.

i need your help.please help me.

i try install drupal in my browser but i fail.

The directory sites/default/files does not exist. An automated attempt to create this directory failed, possibly due to a permissions problem. To proceed with the installation, either create the directory and modify its permissions manually, or ensure that the installer has the permissions to create it automatically. For more information, please see INSTALL.txt or the on-line handbook.

do u know how to solve this problem??

Open your script up, and read the "INSTALL.txt". That should tell you what you need CHMOD and such.

It's most likely the folder/file you need to CHMOD is sites/default/. To CHMOD go into your FTP, right click and there should be an option saying "CHMOD" or "Change file permissions".
