Hi. I recently visited a website named Wowscape.net. They had a really awesome donation page:
http://wowscape.net/indexz.php?act=Donations
I was wondering how they did that... I tried to look for Drop down menu codes, but I don't know how they did it so that all of those boxes go into the payment... that might be a little confusing, so let me explain. So when you order something and put in your info and press add to cart, it takes you to paypal and the name of the items you ordered is all in one huge line like, 20xslotbag:username:server:class:etc etc. I want to know how I would be able to add that kind of thing to my own website and set it up with paypal. If anyone knows how and can share, that would be great! Thank you!

When you choose a setting from paypal to accept payments (ie shopping cart), they will most probably have an integration guide of some kind

I already tried that.. I couldn't find anything like that. I tried a program called Paypal Shop maker, that gave me errors... so I have no idea what to do.

enterthecookie,
As suggested, Paypal does indeed offer many options for you when wanting to use their payment system. I would imagine they can give you step by step directions on how to do what you want to do. Also, from my past experiences, their phone support actually is pretty decent, so a phone call may do if you can't understand their web instructions.

Well paypal doesn't exactly have any form creators... I went to their website and looked around already.. they have like Add to Cart and View Cart buttons... but I need to learn how to setup little forms like that website so players can choose what they want, put in their username/character names and all that will be directed to me when they pay with paypal...

I have similar needs as you.
Check out this thread, might help out a little. I'm still a little unsure on what I'm going to do.

Doesn't pay pal charge you like 30dollars a month to use their cart?

Would the better alternative be to just run your own shopping cart from a PHPscript?

I'm not sure, but I just want to run a little form like that website and make it pay with paypal.

Alright:

so I just did the math on Pay Pal.

If i'm going to sell 5000dollars worth of product at $2.50 per item

With a business account, paypal will charge you 1.9%+30cent checkout fee on every sale.

That being said, assume each customer make but ONE sale each.

After selling 5000dollars worth of product, I will owe 95dollars on the 1.9% processed PLUS 1500dollars on a 30cent checkout fee, per sale, every sale.

That amounts to 1595dollars to paypal after the sale of 5000dollars worth of product.

I'd be losing like a third of my sales to PayPal.

Surely there's got to be a better way!

If anyone finds it: tell me all about it.

Yeah I did the math on that few days ago too and it's just way too expensive.

I started looking at googles checkout.
