Hi. I recently visited a website named Wowscape.net. They had a really awesome donation page:
http://wowscape.net/indexz.php?act=Donations I was wondering how they did that... I tried to look for Drop down menu codes, but I don't know how they did it so that all of those boxes go into the payment... that might be a little confusing, so let me explain. So when you order something and put in your info and press add to cart, it takes you to paypal and the name of the items you ordered is all in one huge line like, 20xslotbag:username:server:class:etc etc. I want to know how I would be able to add that kind of thing to my own website and set it up with paypal. If anyone knows how and can share, that would be great! Thank you! |

When you choose a setting from paypal to accept payments (ie shopping cart), they will most probably have an integration guide of some kind

I have similar needs as you.
Check out this thread, might help out a little. I'm still a little unsure on what I'm going to do. http://www.webmaster-talk.com/html-f...istration.html

Doesn't pay pal charge you like 30dollars a month to use their cart?
Would the better alternative be to just run your own shopping cart from a PHPscript?

Alright:
so I just did the math on Pay Pal. If i'm going to sell 5000dollars worth of product at $2.50 per item With a business account, paypal will charge you 1.9%+30cent checkout fee on every sale. That being said, assume each customer make but ONE sale each. After selling 5000dollars worth of product, I will owe 95dollars on the 1.9% processed PLUS 1500dollars on a 30cent checkout fee, per sale, every sale. That amounts to 1595dollars to paypal after the sale of 5000dollars worth of product. I'd be losing like a third of my sales to PayPal. Surely there's got to be a better way! If anyone finds it: tell me all about it.

I started looking at googles checkout. 2% + $0.20 per transaction In excess of 10 times your monthly AdWords spend: or Free Sales of up to 10 times your monthly AdWords spend Details
