hi, does anyone knows how to extract the data out from the topology table of MANET? i was told to use the IPC shared memory method to do so. but i couldn't find any coding or help from the internet.
Can you guys please help me? i don have strong foundation on coding.

It might be of help if you told us exactly what MANET is and where the topology table might possibly be found.
Assuming that we know what you are asking about is more than a little dangerous.

I mean, one of us could launch a discussion about Édouard Manet, the 19th century Impressionist painter.

manet is a mobile ad hoc network. it acts like a wireless router. the topology table will be created automatically when a data is being route. so the thing here is that, i need to use the IPC shared memory method to extract the data out.

Inter Process Communication is NOT something to be tackled without having a good working knowledge of the processes involved.

Do you have the full specs of the processes involved?
Is there a API available?
What language are you intending to use?
What language is the system you are trying to communicate with written in?
Do you have source code that can be analysed?

Plus a lot of other information is needed before you can even start to code anything.

i will be working in the Ubuntu Os. i'm not familar with this as it is a totally new thing for me to work on. moreover, my lecture gave me this acknowledge knowing that i have no idea so that i can learn to ask around and seek help for my work... i'll be using c language to work on.
