During coding apps there are many filetypes you can need to load in your app, and if you're in need of doing stuff do file that you do not know the format of and the information cannot be found, you could be lost.
But file formats are not that hard to explore if you know what you're doing.
We've written a tutorial to explore file formats (focus on archive types), and if anyone's interested I could attach it here.
