The U.S. Office of Personnel Management offers a constantly updated xml page that indicates the operating status of the federal government in DC.

I would like the current status to appear on my igoogle page in a neatly formatted message so that I can tell at a glance if my office is open, closed or delayed.
As an alternative I would accept the information as a formatted feed.
What do I need to do to accomplish this using IE7?
