Hello.

I'm new to the web design world. I just completed learning HTML/CSS. And I
wanted to learn Javascript and Actionscript simultaneously.

I picked up a book on Actionscript 3.0 and it said that it was for beginners
as well....began reading...in the first few pages it began spitting out code..
.. and almost closed it because I felt so illiterate. Programming is a whole
different world than HTML and it seems as if the AS language already assumes the reader has some level of programming knowledge...(please correct me if I'm wrong).

Are there any book suggestions you all have that breaks down actionscript
programming from "GROUND" level?

actionscript.org has a lot of information and tutorials. That's where I get most of my info. I don't have a book.
