Hi all

I'm wondering if it's possible to insert basic HTML into Flash? I'd really like to use a <script> tag as well - but nothing more. Is there anyway I can embed this in? I've looked on Google but it gives mixed results. It'll just be basic HTML such as a link and CSS, etc.

I think with the current version of flash its just waste of time u can insert html but with very strict rules in css and other stuff that flash does not support. Just leave this idea. Try to use AJAX. Flash is much slower and not that advanced yet.

Depending on what you need it to do you could use PHP.

If you need to call to the script from your swf file. You could even embed the swf and script files into the same php page and use loadVariables in your actionScript to call out...

When I've been using flash in the past I've had to build a website around the flash. It seems pretty tricky to actually implement and HTML, Javascript or PHP into a .swf. But I'm guessing it's possible as some sites have dynamic data within their flash so they must be using something similar, its probably a small area that not a lot of people have worked with but surely there must be a tutorial site or something out there that can help??
