Not sure if you have heard of MSN’s new Adcenter system that is currently in beta.
MSN Adcenter Beta
You can login with your existing account information and play around with the new and improved Adcenter. This is a MUCH needed change for MSN as the old Adcenter was very much lacking in functionality and speed. It appears the new system is quite a bit faster and easier to use all the way around. Good to know someone at MSN was listening!

I have been talking with Shawn Collins quite a bit lately and we have come to an agreement on a partnership of sorts that will allow Earners Forum to help promote his conference (which I will be speaking at) and give away quite a few FREE PASSES!
Over the next 3 months or so, Earners Forum will be doing a variety of contests / competitions in order to give away our alloted 10 Full Passes (valued at $1,449) and 100 Exhibit Only Passes (valued at $299). So the next few months will be exciting times around here as we give away over $40,000 worth of tickets to the coming Affiliate Summit West conference in Miami, Florida.
Look for more updates soon!

If you haven’t considered using a site like Pay Per Post, I would certainly look in to it. I have now used this service twice in the past few weeks, spending about $100 each time. The second time I was able to get 16 blog posts written for $105 in all. Each post was positive in nature, included links with the keywords I required, and were on semi-established to well established blogs, many with PR and good content.
The possible downside and negative talk about these services is that search engines aren’t going to value these paid posts like they would other content and people have also been down on the fact these are basically paid advertisements, feeling the bloggers should disclose such. I don’t care to get in to that and it really doesn’t matter to me either way at this point. I just know that getting 16 blogs writing about my product, service, or website for $105 is a pretty good deal.
I also was talking to another Earners Forum member a few weeks ago who said his ranking for the keyword he was targeting with his Pay Per Post reviews moved up several pages in Google. Not very concrete, but we could definitely be on to something here.

You really have to think like like a marketer. Even if you don’t feel like one, learn to think like one. If you can only do this for 10-15 minutes, then shut out all else and do it. The main part of what makes a solid link bait is two fold. First, you need the idea. If you have an affiliate site selling flowers for Valentine’s day, then you need to put together a link bait idea like making a list of tips on how to love your mate. Once you have a solid idea in your mind, begin to look at the second most important piece of a successful link bait campaign, the title. The reason a solid, catchy title is important has to do with virability and best utilizing the socia media sites. You see on Digg for example, a title can make or break you. That is the first and main thing a Digger sees, your title. Also, since a successful link bait will get you dozens, maybe even hundreds of inbound links, you need a great title for them to blog about and link to. I think for the above mentioned idea, a powerful title might be something like, “”100 Ways to Show Your Love this Valentine’s Day”. Hopefully, you can flip your marketer switch to on and take advantage of some successful link baiting this new year!
