I am just installing my word press blog in my website for about a month .
I am just wondering how I can make my own custom them ?
and also, I am trying to add some flash files (games and some rollover imagees
but somehow, its just doesn't work.

There are a lot of great tutorials to learn how to create your own themes. Here is a really great one that I used a while back to learn how to make them.

It goes into installing WP on your local computer, which is a great way to develop. Allows to make the code cleaner easier and makes it go much faster.

As for embedding Flash into your page, you need to turn off the fancy text editor first. You can do that underneath your user options in the Dashboard. Then when you post, you can do it a number of ways.


This is the standard way. However IE doesn't display it correctly anymore since Microsoft lost some legal battle that I won't get into.

Here is the way that involves Javascript. It's pretty nice, and if the user doesn't have Flash, you can set it to notify them with this script.
