Try to get incoming links from indexed pages and your wesite will be added.

There are many blog search engines and I think you can submit your blog to them which will take your blog to blog search engine like http://www.blogsearchengine.com/add_link.html .

Many search engines have a specific way to add your blog.

Good info starlington, Using those links as a starting point, I was able to find that Blogger wil automatically ping technorati if you enable that function. In addition, you can manually "ping" Google every time you post here: http://blogsearch.google.com/ping

I've seen blog posts when I search for something. I think its in BETA. But, you can go and submit it to the Google Blog Search.
