My blog doesn't really have a name at the moment, or at least one I like. It's mainly a webmaster/seo blog. More seo of late though I'll write on just about anything related the web.

I started it for a variety of reasons. First I just like to learn new things and then pass on what I've learned. I've often been told I'm a good teacher. I do like to write as you can all tell from the length of some of my posts. And in researching some of the topics I've learned quite a bit and hopefully become a better webmaster and seo specialist in the process.
On the business side the blog will provide fresh content for my site to help it grow and hopefully attract visitors from search engines. Sometimes a nice focused page is all you need to get found in a search. I'll also take some of the posts and convert them into articles that I'll submit for download which will hopefully get me some backlinks. Rather relevant backlinks at that since I can control the anchor text and the content.
I've also added an am experimenting with AdSense on the blog to see if that can prove to be a revenue stream for my business. So far very limited results as I'm just first building links and traffic to the blog. Not a lot of traffic yet to really know how I'm doing.
One more reason for the blog is to help let potential clients know what I know and what I'm capable of doing for them. Kind of along the lines of bulding some authority and a good reputation. At least I hope so.
