Hi, I'm a newbie! Just found this site today looking for forums about being a webmaster. I'm a newbie at that too. This forum looked interesting

I have one blog right now. It's called All About Alton I'm a huge fan of Alton Brown from the Food Network. The blog started as a place for me to talk about cooking and trying different recipes, a lot from Alton's show Good Eats, then it kinda morphed into just bloging about things related to Alton Brown. It's also a companion to my Alton Brown fansite called, oddly enough, All About Alton.

I'm brand new on this site and in blogging in general.
Me and my friend have started a music blog with hopes of turning it into something more.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. And I know it sounds like a porn site, I just noticed it the other day.

I am trying hard to get good content and bring in real visitors, not just search engines... This is recent. Before i just planned on getting big on google and spent months trying to do so but then i actually saw a decrease in subscribers, my content was becoming less valuable to visitors but more valuable to search engines.

I have learnt my lesson now

I just started building a blog--a first, and it is not ready for public viewing yet-but I will post it here after I get it all set! I am going to go and look at all the ones you guys shared here to get some ideas! Thanks and I will leave some nice comments too!
