I like wordpress because It's open source and there a thousands of great plugins available.

Wordpress but I am looking at using the VBulletin blog software to incorporate into my forums.

I voted "blogger" but will be changing to worldpress shortly. More customization available.

I've been using blogger for three years, but I'm moving to wordpress... and my own host. Google has been bad to me over the last few years (PR smackdown, anyone?)... and I plan on having a few (or possibly very many ) blogs that I can use as I see fit without fear of randomly having a blog banned or shut down/whatever...

that being said, the blogger platform is very easy to use and more customizable than one would expect from first glance. I actually use 3 column templates on most of my blogger blogs.

Also, I'm very impressed with the number of plugins available for wordpress!

I've been happy with Wordpress, the only thing I wish it allowed was Adsense, but since I'm hosting with WP.com, it's against the TOS. I may switch over to self-host in the future, but probably when I get enough traffic for it to be sensible.

One of my favorite things about WP is that it allows me to tracks links to my blog, so I can see where readers are coming from. It has a pretty goods stats feature and I haven't been motivated yet to see if Google analytics offers more advanced features in tracking.

I use WordPress because it's highly customizable with all the themes and addons you can get.

Only thing is I downloaded wordpress from their website and uploaded it to my own server. Now when I try and install pluggins it says I need a API Code or something. I signed up on their website and got an API code via email and i put it in the code editor of the addon or something. It says:
"The WordPress.com Stats Plugin is not working because it needs to be linked to a WordPress.com account.
An API Key is present in the source code but it did not work."

I use blogger because Im poor and not planning to make money out of my blog. Plus, its so easy to use

I like to use WP because it has user - friendly panel than Blogger has, but WP sometimes acts very weird..

I use blogger, basically because its free, easy to use, user friendly, no need to know complicated programming languages for people who's not into programming.

I found WordPress a little difficult to work around with in the beginning. It does take time to get used to all the features of the platform, but once you've been around the block a couple of times, things get easier. It is also easily crawled by google, so that's what makes it all the more interesting to use.

Blogger, and tabulas are also great platforms. Good times.

I prefer wordpress.

I use Wordpress and I love it! I love the plethora of excellent plugins for it too. You have so much power over what you do with your content, totally awesome

I use wordpress for my blog, there are a lot of free theme to use, great!

I'd say thousands of plugins, some of which are great, but other than that, same reasons, WordPress is my choice. The customization and possibilities are pretty much endless (no experience of other self-hosted platforms, as I went straight to WP).
