How to get backlink from blog commenting?

@OP: the another good way is link exchange, I suppose. Make some blogger friends or wrte interesting enough to be the one who is worth of being backlinked

You need get some lists of dofollow blogs! But it is pretty rare to find these!

Comment on relevant blog, you can find those on Google Blog Search. Don't look only for do-follow blogs. Blog commenting can also bring a lot of traffic. Pick gravatar too!

Let's be honest here. Mr. Steve Jack, is this really a question? Are you asking where you enter your url for a blog comment? You know where to enter your url for a forum sig.

It's even easier to figure out where to enter your url for a blog comment. I discovered it by accident, and I was totally ignorant. If this is really a question I will answer it for you, but I'm skeptical Steve Jack.

What would be interesting to know is how many people who comment spam other "blogs" actually have a "blog" that they allow comments on.

You need to give some value to your comments in the blogs you are commenting. Just don't type one sentence like 'good posting', 'good blogs' etc. Give some thoughts regarding the topic of the posting.

Never spam and post only relevant comments. Surely, far not every one is enough relevant for posting links, but some of them could really be reasonable.

Depends what you mean by worth it. It's not worth doing if you're only goal is getting a link back to your site.

However if you leave comments that interest, entertain, or inform and generally add something to the discussion then it definitely can be worth it. If you continue to leave good comments on a blog then the blogger will likely notice as will the audience of the blog. Some people will click your link and visit your site. Assuming you have good content on your site those people might then link to your content.

You also develop real relationships with people by interacting with them. In time those relationships can be put to use in your business. For example you release a new product and email the blogger asking if he or she will mention it. Maybe the blogger or someone in the audience will be open to you guest posting.

There are all sorts of ways to derive marketing benefit from commenting on blogs. Unfortunately too many people like the OP only see it as a way to get a quick backlink.

I allow 0 comments on my blogs. But if they want to allow comments on their blog, then that is their decision. Fine! But bull****...**** no.

Just don't act like I am some kind of dick because I allow comments. I comment mostly because they want me to comment. I put comments to my sites because they offer it to me.

Very few, you don't need a blog to sell knock-off nikes and ***** pills.

take part in discussion. do more and more valuable comments will give you backlinks.

Just find some high pr do follow blogs then take part on discussion on the posts of those blogs with the link of your site/blog..!

Comment on blogs related to yours and provide something interesting and insightful rather than many of the "great post but look at my site" type of comments .

I guess it is good to prevent your comments swallowed up in a sea of spam comments by not commenting on blogs with a high spam comments content.

But I've always gotten better traffic from writing entire blog posts and submitting them as a guest blogger, than writing comments. So it might be better to invest your time in guest blogging instead.

Blog commenting is a very good source of diverse links back to your site. Try to write as much quality content as you can. .Write quality blog and submit them to top directories.
