commenting on relevant blogs really works...

Blog commenting is one of the effective linkbuilding avenue. but it costs you long days of waiting whether you blog has appoved or considered as backlink. you need to monitor it from time to time to update if the comment was removed or not.

So it's all about quality yet you recommend some of the lowest quality links. Easy and cheap does not result in quality.

Normally when you give a link in blog comment then you can't surely say that your link will remain over there for a long time because in most of the blogs the links are deleted so, it's better post comment in that blogs who are powered by disqus.

@OP: the another good way is link exchange, I suppose. Make some blogger friends or wrte interesting enough to be the one who is worth of being backlinked

You aren't wrong. It's perfectly fine and acceptable for two web pages to link to the other. There are many good reasons why this would happen. However the practice of exchanging links for the sake of the link isn't one of them.

There are far, far better uses of your time than seeking link exchanges.

Add the URL of the site which you are promoting if there is an option/bar to write in comment.

Blog commenting is easy but we must know whether it is do follow or no follow then we should make sure that it will be a quality link not a quantity.AND PLEASE DON'T SPAM

Comments are for comments. putting a url in the comment line is spamming. The only place the url belongs is the field that's identified as "website" or "URL"

There are many ways you can get a link to your site with almost little to no work at all. It's about who you target/ask (if you are asking.)

It's like a sales call... just because you called a random number and convinced them to buy your product because you said it's "cool" doesn't mean the customer wasn't of quality because they were easy to get.

What other meaning than to put the url in the comments option should we gleam from that statement??? if that is not what you meant than you should not have written it. Otherwise you can expect to have zero credibility with whatever you write. The problem with many of these posts are people don't want to admit it when their mistakes are pointed out. But it goes further than that when defiance replaces acceptance of that mistake. you will acquire nothing but zero credibility with an attitude like that.

in your firefox browser download the plug-in "nodofollow" ... this handy tool will allow you to simply glance at a blog and see if the outbound links are 'do follow' by making the do links green and the no links red. If you see green then proceed to post your blog comment.

You should always attempt to leave some sort of insight for the readers. If you leave anchor links that aren't surrounded by quality relevant content that the readers can actually get some use out of, your links won't stand the test of time. In the rare instance that "naked" links are allowed to remain, they'll just become calling cards in googles next assault on marketers and will most likely cause your site to be blacklisted.

Quality. No exceptions. If you've ever tasted success and then had it taken from you because you cut corners or cheated to get to that level or degree of success, then you truly know the agony of defeat. I do. I learned my lessons the old fashioned way. We all eventually do.

Don't ever be sorry to disagree, it can be the start of an intelligent debate. Actually you are correct, "easy to get" was probably wrong, or at least, a poor choice of words.

Maybe "self placed" or "instantly approved" would fit better.
