I understand your concept but here's my advice. I don't know how experienced you are with internet marketing or blogging but I would stick to one niche or market. Especially if its a new blog.
Once your blog gets more established then you can almost write about whatever you want to.
For instance, Johnchow.com. He has a "make money online" blog yet he also posts about cars, fine dining and electronics. He can do that cause he knows what he's doing and has authority on the internet.
When I first started my first real Blog, I started blogging off topic or different niches and I started getting traffic. Most of the visitors I was getting were a little confused and unhappy with the mixed posts. I could pretty much tell by the comments they were leaving. (Let's just say I didn't approve any of them)
I got the point and I learned a lesson. I ain't scared to take risks or experiment. That's what half of internet marketing really is.
If you have the Authority, Experience or Skills then yeah, you could get away with it successfully. If not, then I wouldn't write about two different niches but then again, this is just my opinion.
good luck!
