What i'm trying to do is develop a website that will have five different pages. On each of those five pages i will have wordpress installed. Also on each of those pages, i will have an iframe with another install of wordpress. All five pages will look identical; they will just have different content in the two WP post areas.

To accomplish what i want to achieve; i will need to install wordpress 10 times and have to have 10 different logins.

Does anyone know of an easier way to accomplish this?

Ideally, I would like to be able to access all ten accounts from one location without having to log in and out to every account; also, i would like to be able to eliminate some or most of those wp accounts.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not really sure what you're trying to do. Based on your description it doesn't even sound like you need WordPress at all.

Assuming you do need WordPress why not just create different page templates for each of the pages. Each template can have its own look and functionality.

thank you for your reply;
what i'm trying to do is something in the fashion of http://www.sportslockspro.com/ where there is the main wordpress install and another install of wp where it says "recent 5 star picks" in the iframe; i want to do something similar with 5+ pages and it seems it would be kind of rigorous to keep 10+ different seperate wp installs.

I have to say I am a bit confused here too. There seems to be nothing in that site that "needs" to be put in an iframe. I am not even sure why the "Recent 5 Star Picks" is in an iframe.

I have created many Wordpress custom sites and see no reason to need so many installs for one goal.
How much have you worked with Wordpress before out of curiosity? Are you aware of the system and how it draws the data for the posts, etc.? You can have 3000 pages of WP on one install.

You really don't need separate WordPress installs for what I think you're trying to do. In fact it wouldn't surprise me if there's already a plugin out there that does most if not all of what you want to do.

Did you complete what you were trying to accomplish, FS?

I read your OP, and I'm still not exactly sure what you want to do. Are you just trying to include several different colors of one header on the site? (A couple for each of the five pages?)

Plus, I don't even see an iframe on SLP.

No need to do that. I don't think I fully understand what you are looking for but I'll give it a go.

No reason exists for multiple WordPress installations. You can use categories to create different sections. If you don't want anything such as /category/ to display find a plugin for removing category url.

If you need multiple blogs that are truly independent try WordPress MU.
