Squidoo and Flickr can be a good source of traffic too.

In addition, your RSS feeds could be picked up by RSS search engines like Feedster, Technorati and Google Blog Search. Many bloggers subscribe to search results feeds from these search engines to keep up with what is happening on a particular topic or industry.

having a blog myself, I know that content is king. but it's also important to have a good site architecture and a great internal linking structure so that google can spider all your great pages.

One of the most important things that I do, personally is to keep writing new content for the site. I write four 350-450 word blogs a day. I also do article submission to article sites. Of course, we do more, but those two things really helps us increase traffic to the site.

Fresh and unique articles that has quality are very important I believe. No matter what seo you do without that, I don't think a blog would survive. I mean why would people come back if they don't get anything from your blog.

very useful tips, and also use bookmarking plugins, Make a Dofollow blog and Add a logo "Dofollow Blog" so you will get lots of comments and visitors
