Another tip: I haven't seen your blog so I don't know if it's the same, but try not to TaLk LiKe ThIS. It not only irritates a lot of visitors but it makes it seem unprofessional.

If you are new in blogging, better use Blogger.com as your Blog Hosting site. I do recommend it because of being a user friendly site.

About generating traffic, I always recommend Directory Submission, Social Bookmarking, Link Exchange and Forum Posting.

Be consistent always in doing such things. It's proven effective based on my experience.

Very simple, promote it through social networking site and other ways, create backlinks one is through blog commenting on sites relevant to yours works best. Make sure you have fresh quality content, so people who visit your site would actually stay there and possibly come back..

These are very simple but definitely not as easy as it sounds. You have to be dedicated to gain success on it.

I'm afraid I can't agree with you. Content is essential part of any website, but content is nothing without traffic. You won't get a truckload of traffic just because of good content.

Ya generating traffic to blog is same as generating traffic to a website.
You can target Search engines, If so, you have to do SEO to your site.

As well as you can participate in your niche related forums, that will give you more hits. Also, Twitter, facebook, orkut, myspace and other social networks too help a lot to get more direct hits too.

Apart from this, by visiting your other bloggers blogs and by leaving blog comments with your link will help you to get good bloggers as friends and you can exchange links with them too.

(so, you can get hits from the visitors of that site too)
