if you want to promote it for free... but you may also use paid advertise if you don't have much time... but anyway the free promoting is better than paid because it brings more visitors in long time...

Do Online Groups Posting still reliable in getting high traffic for a certain site? I found it spammy at my side. What do you think?

Make sure you ping sites like pingoat and pingomatic whenever you create a new post. This helps get the search engines to your blog and get pages indexed (which will increase your traffic). I have been doing this on my My Brute Guide and it has done WONDERS for my traffic

Try using sites like linkreferral, GGNshare, entrecard, mybloglog and blogcatalog to interact with more bloggers like you. Submit your site into a lot of directories. Its free. Do blogwalking. Meaning leaving comments or message on sites you visited. Comment on great sites you found, and 75% are the chances that they will respond back.
