You can do press release, classified ads, social bookmarking, social networking, link exchange to relevant sites, forum posting (signature link), blog commenting, online groups, directory submission, article submission, search engine submission etc.

yah! as always. A blog needs a quality post with the chosen keywords to use. Not only that be sure that your blog theme is related to your topic. Customize your page well and make it attractive.
