How do you create dropdown menus for parent links on the navigation bar? I'd like to use a plugin or something that would be easy to implement into my wp blog since I have very limited coding knowledge. I don't plan on keeping my current theme and I will be changing many things around in the future, so that would be ideal if I could easily transition those effects/functions/codes/etc. Thanks!

I don't know any particular plugin for dropdown menus with WordPress, however if you don't get any satisfactory answers here, may I suggest trying on WordPress (dot) org ? Their forum is very useful and you'd usually get an answer within 6-12 hours. Good luck!

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried them too with no luck. There are a few plugins that offer somewhat of a solution, but it's not very well integrated with static pages (more suited for categories and such). At this point I'd just like to have a nice looking theme with drop down functionality built in. If someone could help set that up for me I will try to help promote your website and provide some ad space.

If you can change the theme, then try any magazine style theme.There are many themes with drop down menu

Thanks I found a few themes that have drop down menus, but I'm having a little bit of trouble customizing them. Can anyone help me out? It shouldn't take that much time.

Based on what I've heard... drop down menus are not SEO-friendly so I suggest that not to use them but the decision is all yours. hehe

I have the drop down menus settled now. I just need a bit of help with a few small design tweaks and maybe a little help with creating a logo. I can offer some money and free advertising of course.

1. The Linux and Web Development Blog has a WordPress plugins that adds a drop-down menu to your navigation bar on your WordPress blog. In order to activate this plugin, you need to upload it, activate it, and add the following code snippet to your header file:

Once you have done this, log in to your site, and customize the menu on the CSS Menu option page.
