Is English the most popular blogging language ?

Most popular blogging language – English?
I am making preparation to start a new blog. The fact that I know two languages makes it difficult to decide which language should I use? My aim is to make some money from my blog and use it as a personal diary. I know that the most popular blogs are written in English and there are more people who speak English. Therefore, do you think it would be wiser to use English Language?

Well, what is the topic of your blog is going to be? What sort of audience are you trying to draw to it?

Why not do it in both? There are translation plugins for most blog software... It would increase your audience.

Well, I would think it's a big toss up between English and Chinese. China has a huge population and blogs are quite popular, but I'm not sure if they can compare yet to the level of English blogs available on the internet. Why not write in both languages?

If you want to make money with your blog choose English.

If chinese really is your second language, targeting China won't make you much.
All PPC and CPA companies (including Adsene) pay less for Asian clicks or submits than for US.

If you are going to do some Geo targeting with your blog, then using your language would be ok but I think it would be best to use both. For example, people from my country would definitely understand my blog more if it is in our language, but people outside of the country won't.

Well it is.. A lot of people can understand this language.. So for me, it's really best to use it most especially if your target is global..

My answer to your question is Yes, Yes and why not? Make it in the lanuage you feel most comfortable with because you will more than likely be doing a lot of writing there.
