hi , i'm starting to think about the video part when it comes to step by step on how to do anything . explanation ,,

i've used software called Webinaria to make a 3 minute video but you can't guess the size of that thing ,, over 230 Mb ! Hug for 3 minutes

can you tell me :

• what dimensions that i can use for my blog [ regarding my post width ]
• what software would do that for me
• i like free as we all do . but if freewares can't offer that then hope there is something that worth buying for that issue .

You can get Windows Media Encoder for free if you are PC. A 320x240@15fps .wmv will be about 10 meg. You could always go the YouTube embedded player route too.

also some one told me on IRC that Mov with some modifications can be way smaller than any other format with the same quality . any idea about that ?

yes, WME is what I was talking about. As far as .mov, h.264 can be a good quality/small size, but Quicktime isn't free.

yeah ,, you are right quick time is NOT free ,
but WME only works with wmp series 9 .. it gave me errors with wmp 11

Code it as series 7, just to make sure you get the older systems, and the newer players are backwards compatible.
