There is an easy method to get lots of backlinks with your target keyword as anchor links! You need to spend some cash for this (to run your contest).
Run a blog contest.
Goto contestblogger.com and find any old contest. Goto the contest page and listout the people who participated in the contest.
Visit the participated members' blogs and let them know about your contest through their contact form.
Do the same thing with many old contests at contestblogger.com.

With this method you can get lots of backlinks and traffic in a short span of time.

i suggest finding comments with no no follow tags on them - it is more simple or if you want article marketing is really simple as well

Do follow Comments only give backlinks but contests give exposure to your blog in the blogosphere!

Intereting idea to have a contest. Anyone other sites that run similiar contest? I will love to know more about such contest to gain backlink and traffic!

John chow was penalized because he focused only on the keyword, "make money online".
You focus on "Keyword 1" with first contest,
"Keyword 2" with second contest and so..
There is no change for a catch by Google with this!:smarty:

The site has not many registered members because guests can also post their contests. Check its Alexa to know about its traffic!
