How often do you blog? Do you do it everyday? Or once a week or what?

I'm just looking to keep my blog fresh. I wanna keep it updated but I don't want to overdue it. Whats a good pace for posting new articles?

In the beginning I tried every day but I found with this I was running out of things to blog about. I try to at least once a week, usually more like 2 or 3 though.

On some of my blogs, I post once or twice a week. I also have a few stale ones unfortunately. On my writing blog, I post multiple times per day though.

When I started it was every day! Now I've settled into blogging once every 1-2 weeks.

A good way to fill out your blog with daily posts is to use something like Twitter and use a WordPress widget that makes a blog post out of your daily Twitterings each day.

This works well on a personal blog but obviously wouldn't be suitable if you had several blogs for several different subjects.

5 times a week if I can.

I don't have a blog to blog about. Anyhow if I have one I would blog once a week. I'm not much a talker so I don't think I can blog so frequently.

3-4 times a week

I tend to blog every couple of days, depending on my schedule. I wish I would do more though.

I try to blog as much as possible, about 2-3 times a week.

I try to keep a regular schedule to follow with my blogs. I have several blogs, and the way I have it mapped out, I blog each day, but not on every site.

If you want to keep yourself on track, it's beneficial to reveal your posting "calendar" to your readers so you feel obligated to post when you promised it.

I've been blogging since Feb 2005. At first it was every day, then Monday thru Friday. Then life got crazy and it was a couple of times a month.

I took a four month break recently, which was good for me. Not only was I able to focus on life outside the web, I also had a chance to watch the first three seasons of House.

Now, I'm back at it and blogging about five days a week, sometimes more.

Like others I once was updating my blog daily... Then it slowed down to weekly... So many other projects I must focus on, so thy blog is down on my list these days...

2-3 times a week will be good to keep the blog moving...

I have several blogs running. On a couple of them I post about once a month. Very slack, I know. But I do want to keep these blogs alive!

On my main one I post about five days a week. I do try to post at least once a day, but that is not always possible.

I think that if you post daily or close to it, it really does help to build up traffic. Regular readers check in often because they know they can rely on you to have something new up. But it does also seem to get your posts higher in the search engines, and quicker. That obviously brings in more traffic, too.
