Actually how do you find the topics to post too?

Indeed it is. Sometimes I'm assigned topics, and sometimes I have to find them. It's actually a lot tougher than it seems.

When I blog for myself, I usually need some serious inspiration. My personal blog sees a post once a week (or even less frequently than that, unfortunately). I usually get the inspiration late late at night. It's when the creative juices start flowing.

Depends on who it's for and what it is. My personal blog (see sig) is about social media, mostly. I also write for Lifehacker, a blog on tech tips and productivity, Mashable, a blog on social networking news, and Search Engine Roundtable, a blog on search industry topics. Then, I write for clients and other blogs as well when I have time.

Wow am a reader at all of those blogs, but don't mostly check about the authors there. I just love the content in those blogs..

I write for 4 blogs that I own, and I manage another blog trying to teach a couple guys how to write.. You would think that as recent college graduates they would be a little better at writing

For a while I was trying to write for each blog 3x a week.. So 12 blog posts a week on average.. But with everything else on my plate that has diminished a lot recently.. Now I pretty much only write when something really strikes me as worth writing about.. And I almost never write a me too blog post like is so common these days, especially in the marketing / SEO fields.. Those bug me

Posting regularity often depends on how often you want your readers to visit you. I update my blog twice a week, but to attract a lot of traffic you would want to update daily. Personally, I'd go crazy (ok crazier) if I did that. So I stick to twice a week.

For me, I only update my blog by posting new article once a week. I made this because I want my article to have a one week exposure on the top page of my blog.

Not so often, I used to blog whenever I want to add new content or articles in my blog....

1 to 2 times daily 6 to 7 days a week. But I am new (2 months 1 blog) to this like others used to do in the beginning my blog is on 3 topics. I am sure to slow by the end of year one?

I try to do it once a week, unless something important happens and I have to update soon.
