What is the best way to promote a blog contest? I did a search for some contest related sites, but what I am looking for is a site that lists contest sites to submit to.

Using PPC would be highly effective.

Else find the ten bigger bloggers in your niche, email them and ask if they'd like to promote it to their readers.

If you want to up the ante, you can do a custom podcast or article for them to create additional value.

i definitely agree using PPC for it.. with i have made the best results in blogging stuff.

There are quite a few contest blogs where you can submit your contest, also blogging forums are good places where just bloggers can get attracted to your contest.
I have never tried PPC for contest promotion, so not sure how well it goes.

Maybe Social Bookmarking websites can help you to achieve your goal. Or maybe discussing about the contests in other blogging forums could help.

Why did you have to bump up a thread that was 7 months old?

Try several forums that you may be a member of Forums are a great place to promote contests if the forum allows promotion.

Blogging forums maybe the best way.
