I think occassional typos and minor mistakes are forgivable, but I find it hard to read text with loads of errors.

Correct usage of grammar and punctuation helps make your writing more readable and credible.

Of course if you are writing for 13 year old AOLers then you will probably have more success if you spell everything incorrectly and use no punctuation at all!

Skilly, I know what you meant. That was what others were saying too. Of course, I didn't say that you could have typo every other words. My question is some typos or grammatical errors once or twice in a blog post.

Hendry,

A typo or two in a post wouldn't keep me from reading it. Even the newpaper has typos. But I have come across a blog or two with many more errors and it becomes distracting to read.

Spelling can be difficult. Use a spellcheck.

Grammar and spelling must be observed as a rule of thumb IMHO!
