just I got some codes to place a digg icon on my blog but don't know where to place it!

the icon is the one we click to digg the story.

I have only seen a Digg icon on one site that people "Dugg" stories and that www.zenhabits.net.

I would place the icon near the post\aritcle title, thats where I see the best response.

You can post it anywhere you want, but usually at the top of the article will get the most people to use the button. Another place is right at the end of the article so as soon as someone finishes reading the button is in front of them. Top will probably get more people to click, though.

A good idea may be to have a social networking box at the top right of your post (where people often put photos). Just create a little box with icons for all the social networking sites - it's functional and would have a good click through rate in such a position.
