Our posts and comments show the date and time they were left, but this in whatever time zone your server is set to. That could be the local time where the box actually lives, where the person running the site lives if they've changed this, it could be GMT, or just about anything else... Occasionally, the time is even useful.
We've been able to geo-code IP addresses for a while - see the image below - so I'm wondering how involved it would be to find the user's time zone from their IP or location, then adjust the times on the page to match? I guess it would also make sense to display the name of the time zone, in case you're off. This would still be a lot more meaningful to non-local readers.
