I just wondered what plug ins people use on ur wordpress blogs, or could reccommend any good plug ins ?

There are TONS of WP plugins out there, and they all affect many aspects of your blog. Are you looking for any plugins specifically?

AddThis is "social media spam facilitation;" it helps your users add you to all kinds of social bookmark sites without leaving your page.

CommentLuv lets you remove the rel="nofollow" attribute for people who've posted more than a certain number of comments ... when they post it reads their RSS feed and pulls out a link to their latest post. That would be to encourage people to leave helpful comments on your site ... whether it works or not is an open question.

BlogRush seems to be popular. I haven't tried it myself, so I can't tell you much about that one. Same with My Blog Log.

Like James said, there are too many to count. What are you looking for?

Nothing specifially im just new to wordpress, i had a look thru the plugins but i couldnt find anything useful, so i wondered what people from here used, thought it might be easier to ask, rather than stuble thru 100s of plugins lol !

Perhaps you want to improve your blog's tags and CMS capabilities:

One more I'd consider looking at is the vBulletin-WP bridge, since you have some chat forums, just to integrate users, posts, etc. (Although this one is not installed the same as the other ones, you install it to vBulletin first):

thanks for those james i would give u talkupathon but it says ive got to spread it around a bit first lol, i will have a look into them, do any of you use any for adsense ad placements ? there is an adsense one i tryed which didnt seem to work for me

There are some adsense plugins out there, but I didn't use any, all I needed to do was create a text widget and place the adsense code inside it.

Someone mentioned creating a text widget before, i googled it and couldnt find how to do it, what do i need to do in wordpress to create a text widget ?

To create a text widget go to:
WP Dashboard > Presentation > Widgets

Then scroll down and select how many text widgets you want to add to your "Available Widgets" Queue and save.

Then drag the newly created box to whatever position you wanted and paste the adsense code inside it (You don't need a title for the text widget).

Yet again thanks for the tips ! Got it working on one of my blogs doesnt seem to work on the other lol but ill keep working at it !
