I have been looking around at wordpress, not really sure what to do, how do you get started with wordpress ? as im used to using blogger ?

First, you’ll want to download the program (after you get your hosting, domain issues resolved) here:

If you wanted to set up a free blog, just go here:
http://wordpress.com/signup/

Also, you’ll want to customize it. You’ll probably want to have a look at the different plugins available:

And the different themes to choose from:

Blogging using wordpress is very easy. James did give a step by step process.. Nice one James!

For starters, just go to wordpress.com then sign up a free account. If you're ready to host your own blog, then follow James' instructions.

If you are serious about blogging, it is always advisable to start your own Blog rather than going for wordpress and blogger.

With you having full ownership of your site, you can treat it as an asset and can sell the blog if you feel like later.

I think WordPress is really a very nice thing. What WordPress version do you use for your blog?
