I'm not sure what you're looking for. What kind or tutorial? How to write? How to to program a blog? A little more specifics about what you want to know would help.

I like WordPress as a blogging platform and I suspect it will be the most popular response you'll get to the question. It's not the only blogging platform and I'm sure you'll get a few other recommendations as well.

Yes, Wordpress is definitely one of the best solutions for a single blog if that's the way that you're going. If you're looking to change the theme of it and want to do it yourself, you might want to go with Blogger. It also has an option to publish blogs via FTP to your own server if you want a domain.

Other then that, you can check out Open Source CMS's blog section to see demos and find out more information.

this maybe is your 2 best choices. WordPress and Blogger. Those 2 is easy to use and understand. such great features for blogging.
